thats look pretty good.  my missus would freak if she opened the freezer and found car parts in there....not unless she keeps meat in your beer fridge/freezer?  i reckon anyone with a cortina has been intimate with a busted axle one time or another.

how come you dont drive it?

Could you grab a measurement of the R31 axle?

End to hub face, end to edge of bearing mounting surface (inner) and length of spline if you could... Cheers!

Not much of a update just what I've been up to ....broken axle after axle, considerd going LSD but I like how a spool handles , not gunna go with the 28 spline falcon/r31skyline axle conversion, with the rate I break 25 splines think I'll be in the same boat  ,putting money to the side to get some billet axle. Few pictures of what I did today

The axle removed today

Very tight in there

The axle collection

Found some pictures when I rebuilt the motor so added them to my thread, rebuilt it due to 2 rockers ripping out the head, a lifter shot out and 3 bigend bearings went, think I over reved it too much, was intoxicated at the time

The 250 naked

And in incognito, I cut a standard air filter to fit over the Holley
