DIYs, requests & search tips in here
« on: July 25, 2006, 10:56:11 AM »

The site has common DIYs located under Topics section shown in the Site Menu and also in here.

If you are wanting to find a particular DIY, use the search function shown in the top left of the screen (above the site menu) and that will search all locations of the website.

If you want to add a DIY or request a DIY please post your requests in here.

Does anyone have a DIY solution on how to remove the Wiper Spindle (drivers side) from the car. I have removed the wiper arm and bolt from the top and plate from inside the engine bay but unsure of what sort of clip holds it to the wiper arm inside.

u need to take the two main retaining nuts off from the outside and slide the whole mechanism out as there is a tiny e-clip on the back of the spindle. take him off and the whole lot falls to bits.

Thanks mate. Really appreciate it. I'll pull mine out in the next few days to replace the drivers side spindle.
