TE Cortina Hydraulic clutch conversion
« on: May 15, 2017, 04:05:03 PM »

Hi all I am new to this forrum. I would like to know if anyone has any handy tips about doing a hydraulic clutch conversion in a TE cortina 250 crossflow. I Have an earlier six cyl bellhousing which were hydraulic. I just intend to fit this and use Falcon master and slave cylinders. I guess just cut drill holes in firewall and make a rod to fit pedal. Thats the general idea but if someone has done it you may have some more accurate  details for me to follow. any advice I would be gratefull.

you pretty much have the idea. there is no one way which is better than others provided you're using matching componentry.

g'day
saw on another forum that Mal Wood has an underdash set-up, comment was made that it is $1300, not sure if that also includes the thrust bearing as well or just the pedal box and hydraulics.
