Shorter Wishbone/ Offset Ball Joint
« on: June 24, 2017, 12:14:53 PM »

Hey guys,

I have an issue with wheel fitment on the front of my cortina.

I have been informed that Centreline no longer exist and after many phone calls no one has any stock left of Convo Pro in a 6"

I have a set of 7" but they are sticking out about 20mm past the guard.

My thought is hopefully someone knows of an offset ball joint or shorter wishbones that can be swaped out to make these rims fit along with a little bit of guard flaring.

This project has been going for a long time now and it has been from day 1 my car to sit on convo pros.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Matt

I picked up some trailer hubs to change my front stud patten. This shortened the track, from memory it was a bit more then 20mm once is fitted. This is on a TE though, I don't know if you will have much luck finding a hub and bearing combination to fit. The TE took holden bearings.

i had made adjustable arms for mine to do the exact same thing but it was major surgery all round and i've also converted it to coilover.
