Hi fellas just to add to my earlier post could anyone please tell me what the single letter engine code on the compliance plate should be for a TF 4.1 six And just to cut my earlier dribble short <had a few beers hehe> i just wanted to know thoughts on if the car was originally a 4 now is 6 ,will it effect the finished end result ie, resale and other factors.

(W)  I don't think that there are that many late model Cortina enthusiasts that would be that stuck on originality, some but not many. Seeing how many are on this and other forums, we seem to be a dying breed. Resale depends on who wants one at that moment and how much is in there pocket.

Your right mate i got talking to a nice bloke who ownes 3 or 4 corties nice ones to, he encouraged me to hang on to it they will be worth money one day, and being a original 4 cyl will not effect your finished product so we are starting on it this week all good.
