im thinking bout putting in a au or xh 6 cylinder in to my corty how much work would be involved
-
shitloads.
an au wont fit cos of the sump.

i think it would go easy, get a sump and pickup fabricated, have to do someting with the dip stick tub i guess, block off the factory location and have one fitted to the sump in the correct location.. I dont see it being that big a job really just my take on it..

For starters what model corty are you planning to fit the engine into? As the TC/TD and the TE/TF engine bays are different.
And if you go to the TE , you will need custom intake manifold, sump, bellhousing, and engine mounts. Not to mention modify your heater box etc...
Theres a fair bit of work involved. Believe me.

there''s work yes, but fabrication is easily done with a bit of planning, i would take on the task anyday, i personaly dont think it would be hard, but thats just me, my car''s build is what i call hardwork and alot of work, fitting up a 6 with a few mods to get it in there is not what i call alot of work, i guess we all see things differently though..
