I've wondered that one too... Most of the country mk3's went to speedway I think, theres probably still a few scrape marks on the wall at the Collie track
don't see many in Perth, at the shows or for sale and not many on the road either, although I saw a 'battle scared' TE wagon the other day........

iv only seen a couple in canberra to many r being wrecked

Hey all,
I think there would be more cortinas off the road in states of repair or restoration than would be actually registered and driven vehicles.
Then there are the ones that are pure trailersailers and cant be registered.

Dont think many cortys would still be registered, I hardly seen any on the road anymore.
One a side note I contacted the Ford Discovery Centre a few years back to try and find out how many of the different model cortinas were built in Australia. Glad I didnt hold my breath waiting as I still havnt got a reply and doubt I will !!!

Currently I have two 1977 TE's that are both unregistered. Unfortunatly one of them is beyond repair as it would be easier to make the car from scratch then to cut out the rust. All is not lost though. When I can free up some space i will salvage what I can from it to help keep other TE's alive.
