Has anyone built a rotisserie to fit a TD Cortina. I've read the article on this website for the one made up for a TE, but aTD is a bit more of a fiddle. The main problem I see is the size of the RHS that will fit into the rear chassis rails where the rear bumper bar mounts go. They have a plate and nut welded inside the rail and that means I can only fit a 30x30mm RHS inside the rail. I sent a request to a US mnaufacturer of rotisseries and they sent me back the schematics for the pressure tests done on 30x 30 and it's not pretty, I don't think it will hold enough of the weight. I was thinking of plating the flat area inside the boot, as I have removed the tyre well years ago and welded in a flat plate to run an alloy drop tank underneath the car. If anyone has done a TD rotisserie, please email me.

Try BigNorm he has made and used one on his TD. I have made and used one on my TE and use bar ends to connect the rotissorie to the car.
