Title: Hoppers Stoppers brake kit for a TD Cortina
Post by: fmd on July 02, 2012, 04:02:31 PM
Has anyone bought a brake upgrade kit for a TD from Hoppers Stoppers in Sth Australia. Will they fit with 15" Weld Draglites?

Hi fmd,
I put the hoppers kit on my dads tc with convo's and they fit fine. 15" is the smallest you can go. Very easy kit to fit and works very well. I think you will be fine with the weldy's

I just sold my 4 stud convos that i got for my TC as they just touched the guards even thought they were only 15X4 with 135's. Looks like i will have to get the hoppers stoppers kit if i want to fit 5 stud convos to the front now. Might wait a while now. The things we do and the money you have to spend to put on 5 stud wheels is more than what the wheels cost..

You got rid of them quick, only on gumtree for a day that I noticed.

Yeah got a message about an hr after I put the ad up. Actually made a profit on them which was good. Got $600 for them and only paid $385. They are going on a rx4 turbo dragcar. More cash aside for when I find a good 2v head.
