G'day all, long time no chat..... I'm after a bit of info on the weber 36/36 downdraught carb fitted to the v6 capri... I'm building an engine to comply with W.A concessional licencencing, in that it must be (or appear to be) standard, I know this is a bit of a cheat but I am lead to believe that the 36/36 from the capri has the same stud pattern as the standard 32/36 on the pinto engine and will fit under the stock air cleaner. With the bottom end and heavy port head I already have it seems a waste, but for a rego cost of around twenty bucks a year its an unfortunate reality if I want to keep the car on the road, pay the morgage and squeeze as much go as I can at the same time... Has anyone had any experience with this carb on the pinto engine? Any idea on a cam to match? Just putting it out there before I spend the coin and find out the hard way....
Cheers for any ideas or comments.... Andy.....
