This is a question for Big Norm. Think there are some info in the DIY section. Some stiff springs and shocks with some thicker swaybars would be a good start replace bushes as necessary. People have said fitting an xb master cylinder helps with the brake's . Not sure about the steering wheel swap but I would guess yes

Regarding the steering wheel. The td and te show as using the same saas steering wheel boss.
So good chance Yes.
Brakes steer etc best to hear from Norm.
Cheers

sorry i'm late, train got a flat.

cortina's dont stop and behave themselves at the best of times. too much weight too far forward.  all you can do to make it better is fit decent springs, shocks and lower it to lower the centre of gravity.  rule of thumb for sway bars is address the end misbehaving itself; if you've got understeer then put a decent front bar on it, oversteer then the rear. the factory sway bar on the rear is ok but nah you're right, u wont find bushes for it. if rear a problem then pedders make a bar kit which mounts in a different location so you can still leave the factory one there. just about everyone makes a front sway bar, otherwise if you cant find one tc's had them factory and the mount locations are still on a td just no bar.

I'd say the biggest let down with the front brakes are the solid disc's. The xf caliper is suited to a vented disc. At a guess I'd say the xf disc is twice the thickness. With an adaptor you can fit whatever caliper you want but it needs to be compatible with the disc.
I'm in the process of changing my front disc on my te. Plan to use s13 Silva disks and calipers. I've swapped to a 114.3 x4 pcd. Te/f front ends don't interchange with tc/d

theres plenty of options to upgrade the brakes and you get what you pay for. only thing i strongly recommend is dont be tempted by the upc kit on ebay like the absolute plague. for starters its a commodore rotor drilled to a falcon stud pattern which will make future replacement difficult. the pissed off people outnumber those who have been successful with the kit  10 to 1.  discs touching suspension, wrong thread bolts, brakes hoses too long, caliper adaptors incorrect and that kinda stuff.   then when you query the product there is zero after sales but heaps of angry attitude.

there is a bloke dave in country victoria who does a front upgrade using later falcon gear and also a rear disc conversion. if you're interested i'll get you his number.
