wondering if any one wants to start a new project as i want to swap my 1978 te cortina 2lt 3spd auto no rust except for a little scratch thats got surface rust and a second engine 2lt with 63,000 km on the clock for another 78 te corty im willing to put some money in to buying it at same time

I presume you are after a 6 cylinder. Otherwise why swap?
