Awesome news Tim,
Any dramas at the rego dept, sometimes its just a chick and all she needs to see is a number somewhere that corresponds to anything. I can remember seeing a corty and the engine number was the 6 cyl firing order.
Now you can have fun with it :drive:

Nice work, got any pics?

The RTA guy was pretty good, but funnily enough as you mentioned there was the powertripping chick trying to give this RTA guy and me a bit of a hard time about the ownership, (as my car had not been registered for a while),
even though I listed the last two plates where I was the owner and it listed on their records that I was the last owner, she gave the guy serving me a hard time about whether this was genuine or not even though the form said that I could just list the last plates as proof of ownership.
I think this was pretty unecessary and she was just being a bitch, I was about to give her a blast when she scuttled off and said OK to everything(not that she had a choice).
My wife copped the same bitch when she was submitting the engineers report for the turbo on her Supra. (my mate calls these powertripping chicks a powerpussy, sound about right).
Anyhow I still have a fair bit of work to do to tidy up the body and do some reconditioning and mods to the engine.
It will be on for young and old when the Mrs and I get to Wakefield (her with the Supra and me with the Corty), The Corty will have the low down corner exit grunt, but the Supra will be a challenge when it hits boost.
Hmmm, maybe a couple of cheap chinese twin turbos on the Corty could be on the cards.
I will see if I can put some pics on another email.

Can't seem to be able to put pics on in the normal way, says something about putting them on a public website, which mean I guess on this website somehow, but I have had a couple of drinks and it seems a bit complicated for me at this time of the night.
Could someone let me know what to do?
Thanks,
Tim

Well here goes trying to put some pic up.
She still needs some bodywork, so don't be too critical.

Wow Tim,
I love it, maybe drop it down an inch, doesnt matter anyway looks shit hot.

Yeah Bucster,
looking at the photos, I would tend to agree it would look better lowered an inch, but the photos are a little deceptive as the flash has highlighted the inner guards too much and it actually looks the inch lower in the flesh.
However if the guards don't rub too much I will lower it the extra inch anyway, as I like my cars as low as they will go but still be on the streetable side.
Cheers,
Tim

those wheels suit nice. good shit mate!
-
Yeah the wheels were a bit of an accident, my brother-in-law worked at a tyre store and said he could get me some XR8 rims, which I thought were going to be the other style a bit like a Mondial rim, but when I put these on I thought they looked pretty good.
I have ripped the car apart now, the motor has been stroked to a 347 with alloy heads, about to go back in.
I have taken to the car with a stripper disk, to give her a coat of paint, until I can afford a proper bare shell paint job.
Then on the 1st of December I hope to take her to Wakefield Park.
