Hello Guys,
I have just 2 spots left for a Private Track Day at Wakefield Park.
Just Briefly:
We have one rule: No D**k Heads.
We have a range of experience, people and cars, including hopefully my 5.0L Corty, which I have just ripped the motor out of to recondition.
We have a Fast/Medium/Slow session every hour.
There will be other female drivers for ladies wanting to attend without being intimidated.
The emphasis on fun (but not drifting or burnout or similar).
Costs are $180 max. (not including Wakefield Licence $60-$90), maybe less depending on numbers.
We will have timing for 25 cars, an ambulance and Race Driver instruction by Mike Navybox (instructor to V8 Supercar Drivers and more).
The day is on Friday the 6th of June.
It would be nice to meet some of you in person.
First in gets the spots.
Just email me at tim.jacky@bigpond.com with your details.
Please remember anyone driving dangerously will be booted off the track, so if you want a fun day with no fools damaging your car, drop me a line.
Cheers,
Tim

Well I must say I'm kind of shocked,
We have our numbers now, but I thought for sure a couple of Cortys from this forum would come to the Wakefield Track Day.
Now I understand the theme to this Forum I will post elsewhere for the track days and order my Granpa's Cortina hat from this forum.
Just kidding but I have to give you guys a bit of stick since I may be the only Corty there.

Wakefield is at Goulburn not far from Canberra, 2 hours South West of Sydney on the Hume Highway.
Actually mine is also in bits getting the 347 stroker  put together and a lick of paint to see it through the next 12 months before I get a real paint job.
Cheers,

This track day is now full and closed.
Please remember that this a Private Track and that people who just turn up will not be admitted.
Thanks for the overwhelming number of responses.
Cheers,
Tim
