My td cortina is playing up and giving me the craps anyway is the prbs
1st i fixed up an vacum leak there were 3 of them from the breather house
that leads from the carby to the rocker cover fixed that today
2nd fixed the brake booster pipe as i though it might be that
3rd cleaned the spark plugs all of the gaps had closed inwards and fixed that
4th well here is the prb i dorve my car home from my mates place which is about 2k,s from me and i stoped at the shops to get some shopping (should of driving straight home) anyway the car was running really great until i stoped and went into the shops and then came back out to start the thing and it did start the 1st time but only went about 10meters and just stopped and blowed smoke from the rocker cover brown and white smoke and i couldnt get it started agian it like it has no vacum at all it use to run great but the last few months it is just not happy at all and i just dont know what to do at all.
the manfold had a leak as well fixed that up as well
so you all know it is an 250 pre crossflow 4 on the floor
any advice would be a help thanks
James
