Title: Rebuilding a 250

Hi
Got a alloy head 250 crossflow that i intend to either rebuild myself or get done by someone else.
Never built a motor before and wodering if anyone knows of any good books on the subject.
Failing that does anyone know of a good mechanic in Melbourne that could do it for me.
