howdy cordy fans !  8)

got me bro-inlaw's TC here the other day , only needs a few things done here and there to get over pits !
its complete granpa spec ! but having trouble finding engine bay pics (stock one's) any ideas what the colour of the motor/rocker cover and air cleaner is ? 250 pre xflow ......  
also cant find a repair manaul for one of these? have only checked ebay ... any ideas - pitstop bookshop are also hunting one down too ......

the only major job to be done is the brakes - leaks between master cyclinder and booster , is there a after market one (NOS) ? or $105-170 to get this one recoed at ABR ?

Also steering very noisey ? turning hard left and right ?

Hey mate. ive just been through ebay and believe i found some manuals for it. just type in cortina and search through the 16 pages. No way you can miss anything thing. Sorry i cant help you with anything else im an amateur atm. goodluck though :)

i dont kno if that will cover you. if ur actually willing to spend a little money on the manual theres 2 buy it nows for over $60. There is a 6cyl tc manual but as u as it just goes up to XL. However im not so sure that apart from exterior looks and interior there is much different mechanical wise between the XL and XLE. However that could just by my ignorance. I always see these manuals so hopefully someone will help you out.

G'day, had problems finding engine bay pics too, looking for a pic of the sticker thats meant to be on the radiator shrowd, stay away from the genuine ford manual, shows all parts seperately or in pieces, but no pics of a complete engine. Let me know if you find anything, I'm still keen on working out what sticker I need................. Cheers

Rocker covers.
200ci was blue
250ci was red
aircleaner as blue on both I think.had a blue one on my 250.
Had to sellboth my xle just befor xmas cos had no work.

Black one didnt even get to drive only had it 4 weeks then had let it go. Not a single peice of rust in it.
