WTB Alloy head in Adelaide
« on: September 07, 2014, 07:48:42 PM »

Hi all, Just chasing up an Alloy head for my corty the current one has some corrosion on the back water gallery that has gotten quite close to the sixth cylinder. It managed to work it's way through the head gasket. Also if anyone has a manifold/carby set up they would like to part with, I'm also looking to upgrade from the standard weber.

Hi
I'd head to you pull it and start pulling off heads to find a good one. The more popular ones for performance mods are c1 c1a c2 c2a.

Thanks Winton, where abouts is the c1 stamping or identification? The one I have says HF1 moulded into the top in between the rockers. What are peoples opinions on repairing the head?

Shouldn't be an issue with having it repaired,  think I read some where  HF stands for Honda foundry and as Norm said.

Cheers guys, ended up taking it local to get welded and faced. 90 bucks and I can chuck straight back on and get her rolling again.
