TF Cortina Arrives.. and so it begins
« on: August 19, 2012, 11:49:41 AM »

HI guys, I'm Wayne new to the forum here, but no stranger to fords. although I currently own a vy bombadore "11 second daily"

I have recently aquired a ford cortina
 81 TF Cortina
Boss 302 twin gas research ( roller rockers, manly valve guide, and more to be revealed when I pull the motor down)
 C10 auto standard trans ( I think)
Ford 9" diff
all engineered but has been off the road for atleast 6 years.
picked the car up on the 8/8/12 as a complete car. but not running.
pictures to follow as soon as they upload to picasa or I can work out how to use the missus' fagbook

will keep the pics flowing as the work progresses
so far it has gone from a full car to rolling shell with no hanging panels in 2 days

Thanks for warm welcome fellas. Would have preferred a cold wild turkey.. but I won't complain.. plans are to have org back on the road.. ASAP. All jokes aside I want to return to being a tough street car with not too much being.. I like the sleeper look.. but I still can't get away frying gun metal grey! Will redo the interior to near standard.. just need to locate a few parts for the car. Looks like swap meets on the weekends and EvilBay by night. Everything is work in progress. One main goal. But how I go getting that goal is up in the air. Or in the fridge :guin
