TD Instrument Cluster Change
« on: April 26, 2014, 11:15:54 PM »

Hi guys,

First post so apologies if it's been covered before.

I've just picked up a 76 TD L barn find in great condition, well, rough paint etc but very minimal rust (had one as my first car 23 years ago and just got another one to rebuild, the wife says mid life crisis...).  I want to change the instrument cluster from the standard to the XLE cluster that has the taco in it.

Can anyone tell me if the wiring loom will also need to be changed or does the standard loom have the provision for the taco?

the wiring is already there. swap the cluster over, fit an oil pressure sender and you're away
