Hey all,
Quick intro. 1978 Te Ghia 250xflo. 85k orig. Ground up restoration. new roof, wild paint (sechelles red on bottom fading to lambo orange with gold pearl on top), custom chrome grilles, blah, blah, custom, blah. Better than new condition. I love my corti and refuse to part with it. Blew engine to bits while on a run. have removed engine gearbox etc. Another member has great idea about putting in a 1uz. Got Mechs coming around to measure availabe space and options on Monday but thats a holiday, so unless they are very committed i doubt it.
I am looking for RELIABLE with good HP figures and a shop in SE QLD that will do it. Preferably Gold Coast. Any ideas/problems to avoid and contact details of a recommended shop. My backyard grass is dead and if i dont do it now i''m buying a motorbike. I would stuff it up if i did it myself. HELP! Someone must have had a good experience with a performance mech in SE QLD.

Looking forward to being broke with a smile.
