Our TE Cortina Ghia
« on: August 26, 2013, 09:43:25 PM »

We have just bought a 78 TE Cortina Ghia (250 cast iron head, auto) pretty much stock except for superlow king springs all round (way too low), extractors, exhaust and a variety of different wheels.  I have added some pics when it arrived home.

Welcome to the forum.

From the pics you have posted it looks pretty well untouched, which is an excellent start. No need to fix other peoples dodgy work.
What are you plan for it?

It has a bit of rust around the place to fix which they all seem to have. Otherwise it's really straight and the standard paint isn't too bad so we might get away with a bit of touch up paint and a polish. The engine and gearbox were reconditioned a few years ago so hopefully shouldn't need too much mechanical work.   It's officially my wife's project car (to go with my xe s pack you can kind of see in one of the photos) so for the time being we will work on getting it registered (and not so low) and see how we go from there.
