My TD with new paint job.
« on: November 04, 2013, 10:23:00 AM »

WELL here is my TD that I have just finished painting in a John Goss Special and wonder what people think of it!!!
The reason I did this was I wanted something different and after seeing a XB JGS at a show, I decided to do. The Cortina on the side has the same shape as the XB 2 door and with the TD having a vinyl roof there were not a lot of options of doing something different. Hope to get rid of the white rims as they just do not do anything for me and put a set of 13" Globes on soon.

Like others around, all had mixed views and some well were ready to lynch me up from the nearest tree over doing that to a Cortina. well it is all done now but without the Globes I have 12 slotters as the guy I was getting them from uped the price by $200. not sure if the 12 slotters will stay chrome as they are not the best but about 80% AND THE SCHEEM for it was the XB GJS andy that had the white rims, so I am thinking about doing them in Plastic Paint so that It can be reversed if need be. I will get some pic's up today of the finished job. Before anyone says anything as to the Vents in front of the rear wheels I have thought of it but jury is out.
