limeted edition #083
« on: November 02, 2007, 03:48:56 PM »

hello everyone     im looking to get some advice on my TE.    its a limeted edition one of 500 released.  number 083.     i have only seen a few shitty examples in the le mans red color  and 1other in marigold ( color of mine) which is featured on this website  #416 i think.  mine is not in as good condition as that but is fair for its age.  its had a respray and a hot 250 put in it. stage 3 crow  yella terra rockers flat tops  ballanced and so on... $5000 worth. its a 4 spd from factory and ive been told this was even rarer.         could anyone give me an idea what it might be worth??  as i say ive only ever seen 1 other in this color and about 5 in all.... it is genuine i know for sure the Vin ends in 00083c. but dose not have original block in it.   what do you think she is worth??
cheers.

Depending on what the interior is like i would say your looking at around $2000. Maybe a bit more to someone who knows what they are. The red colour is also Monza red and all S-packs come with 4 speeds. I have seen about 4 in Marigold including one i owned a while back and about 4-5 in Monza including the one i own now. Mine is #377, i used to own #76 and have seen #348 for sale and  #460 something which i almost bought but it had holes in the roof from roof racks. Are you looking at selling it??

Hi,
Are you in Qld, i was contacted a couple months back by an owner with a monza red limited edition, cant remember the number he wanted much the same price as 1800, it was also 1 owner. I have had several limited editions as well, first was 21 yrs ago, #222 red, then #174 marigold, and various parts from #167 red.

The cars are only worth as much as you are prepared to pay for them, enthusiasts like myself usually pay more than normal.

Not having the original engine block is a huge reduction in the price .
