TF 250xf Corty sedan and bits For Sale
« on: September 02, 2008, 12:34:20 AM »

Hey Guys,

First of all, great forum.  Funnily enough its the first time ive stumbled upon it after being a TE owner for over 6 years....  Certainly provides some inspiration until the $$ to spend hits home!

Anyway, I have a TF 250 sedan (auto) for sale, which would be great for project/resto.  I simply do not have the spare $$ unfortunately to throw at it.  Was a great idea to buy it at the time but looking to free up some room around home.

I have taken most of the gear from the interior out, except for dash and rear seat (gas tank is in way of the last nut!), to check for rust.  Only a small section in the drivers foot well below the accelerator which is great.  Other than that, there is a small section on the left fender, and to be honest not much else.  I have a rust free straight bonnet and boot as well.

There is also 4 spare doors with tinted glass, however, some have rust.  The ones on the car are rust free.  There is a spare tinted front and rear windscreen, and a stiffer swaybar.  In the garage as well is two interiors, one blue vinyl and the other light tan from the ghia.  Front seats need work, but the rears are not bad.  The blue door trims are in excellent condition, and the others may just need some cleaning up.

There is the chrome finishing strips in good condition also, as well as heaps of spare parts and enough to make a complete vehicle (taillights, indicators, bumper, grills, etc etc.).

There are 2 spare rims with tyres, as well as the four on the vehicle.  They have pretty good tread and are sitting around some thinner dish version rims of my car... see pics.

There is no battery in the vehicle, and the fuel pump is stuffed, but it is on gas also.  Funnily the boot is completely rust free which is hard to believe.  As is stated, its a 250 xflow that is pretty clean in a rust free engine bay.  Am told it doesnt blow smoke, am happy to get the girl started just need some terminal connectors to wire her up.   The guards have had some work done by the looks of it, as are blackened up and quite clean.  The car is made from various panels that were put together due to them being rust-free.

Body is pretty straight, except for a dint in the rear left roof section.

Below is a link to a few photos, I am happy to take some more of anything if anyone is interested.

Wish I could have the money and time to get her painted up and work on the engine a bit.... Hopefully one day in the next few years ill be in the position to do just that.  Please pm me any questions or offers on price as a whole, i'm not going to take any stupidly low offers of pocket change but at the same time I want to see it go to a good home and to clear some room up here at home.  i realise its not worth a mint, but i'd rather offer it to one of you guys before i have to hit up ebay. If people are after a particular part just let me know and ill see what I have.

The blue TE is my daily driver and has been for over 6 years, if only it wasnt riddled with rust (and people didnt bump into it whilst stationary over the years!!) i would spend my spare coin giving it a facelift.  But I love it to bits and has and still is serving me well to this day.  Cheers guys thanks for looking
