I was talking to a guy at work who reckons if i put a stage 3 cam and roller rockers with a line lockers and a double pumper 750 holley on my cortina. THe motor can have standard log manifold and head and i don't have to put bigger valves in it or anything and it will fly and be quicker than a new Ford GT....lol. some people talk so much shit.
He doesn't know i'm actually a mechanic by trade also. Atleast i had a good laugh. :pointluagh

Haha,
I was talking to a guy a while ago, told me he use to have a worked n/a pre-crossflow td and that it had 400hp. Then went on to tell me it was faster then Dave Adams 9 second corty. I just walked away as he was in mid sentence.

i had a bloke once tell me he used to own my old v8 tc. i told him it must've been a different car cos i painted it blue(originally white) and i did the v8 conversion. he was pretty adamant it was his old car and got quite angry when questioned. dont argue.

Been looking for a new ride lately and some of the things I've heard are laughable..... Saw a ford ute 120000km straight and clean... The guy kept me waiting half an hour, then when he turned up told me not to worry about the k's on the dial, he "umm ahh (looking at the ground) had to ahh change the speedo cause it umm broke" it actually read 340000, "but you can ask my mate he's a mechanic" Front and side had been stoved in too, bogged and painted, poorly, with spray cans. Bahahaha! I could only laugh, other option was to throttle him.....
