Hey norm, you don't happen to have a black centre console for a mk3 GT do you. Mines missing :(, Owe and the steering column surround and steering wheel to suit.
Otherwise just a black one from a TC, and i will have to mod it to fit the guages.
I know you can't post to Vic, but if you have one, I can try and organise to get someone to pick it up from you and get them to post it for me.
Cheers

do you have any of the chrome drip rail trims in good condition, looking for a set for my cortina, it's a pretty tidy car and i'm chasing those trims..

mine were not the best so i hav left them off, i would like to put them back on if i can find good ones..

also the chrome trims that go on the top of the doors near the window weather strips..

if not do you know where i may be able to sorce these items thanks Lee

nah sorry, only ever owned 2 mk3's and both of them werent in a position to strip for parts. a good original steering wheel i wont have and a black steering column shroud i think i have depending on which type u want(tc or td).  black console i have never seen from factory for a tc/td. rumour has it they exist.  first coupe had a black gt console but it was junk anyway.

protd: i get asked for the gutter trims often. i have shitloads of them, only problem is i wouldnt have the faintest on how to pack/send them. doors i have plenty so window/door trims i'll have heaps too but i'll have to have a look for a good set.

i've copped a bit of shit lately so just a quick note on where i'm at and why i cant help as much as i used to.

i work a squillion hours and dont have time to leave work to go to a post office and also i would have to close my workshop as i cant leave it unattended so i'm not in a position where i can mail stuff.

if you're patient i can remove stuff and box it up to be picked up by your courier.  i only get weekends for life/family/me time so if the bit u want comes second priority to me being a part of my son's under 8's football game thats why.  i need to stress the patient bit before i go on as i have a few bits from recent in my shed which people were "desperate for, cant find anywhere else", i removed or sourced from a mate and they're no longer wanted and still sit here.

i'd rather help if i can and am more than happy to do so if i can and if i say i'll do something i will. if it's needed in a hurry then i cant help.

apologies if this offends anyone.

if u live in perth, then you're welcome to pick up any bits u want.

Hey Norm.
The Black steering column shroud i am looking for is for a Mk3 so TC.
About the black console, rumour is true, they do, or did exist. Only car that had them though that i know of from factory was the Mk3 GT Coupe. So if you had a car with one. Would most likely have been a GT. Mine is a GT thats why i am looking for one. No mater I will keep looking. But if you have a steering Coloumn Shroud in black would be great.

if i get in the shed this weekend i'll have a look for it.

on the consoles, i was talking to a bloke in nz recently about swapping some imported stuff for oz stuff and he has the consoles you're looking for except they are brown. i'll find out more about what he's got, cost etc and let you know.

Doesn't matter if they are brown, can always be painted.
Just as long as they are the right console. The one with the guages in it.

diff i have but someone else has already said they want it but have never come up with the goods. it's about 150kms old from when i had it reconned and i want $400 for it if the other dude doesnt want it - its the diff i pulled out in the tutorial i wrote when i went 5 stud.  if u'r referring to gutter trims i have a few good sets but as previously mentioned elsewhere, i wouldnt have the first clue how to package them so they could be sent at a respectable price. most couriers now work in volumetric weight rather than actual weight which means they would charge you for something 1.5metres long by 60cms high. i think last count that worked out at about $100 freight. wheel arch trims i have shitoads, how many u chasing? what kind of condition?
tc xl boot trim? are you talking the thin moulding which runs the full width or u talking about the fuill alloy trim on the XLE's?  thin moulding i have but i'm not sure on clips. full xle trim i have in 8/10 condition.
