I'm in Perth, and have a 75 td sedan and a 63 impala.

The TD is in decent nick, 250 4spd, its my daily driver until i finish uni and get a job, then she will get money thrown at her.

Mmmmmmmmm '63 Impala (insert drool emoticon here) o.k where were we?

Hi guys, thought I would bore you with my small collection. I'm also in Adelaide  :D

I'll list the cars in order I got them in

1. Tc xle sedan. I have had this car for 10 years and it's my baby. I could never sell this car. Has been off the road for about 4 years getting improvements. Now has a rebuilt 3.5 lsd rebuilt tricked up C4 and mild 250 crossflow. Just needs a few small things to get it running again.

2. 1960 fb holden sedan. original 138 grey motor and 3 on the tree. Looked good in pics but had ALOT of structual rust which has been removed and is now waiting it's turn to be painted.

3. TD wagon. 2ltr manual. Has 128? thousand k's on the clock. I bought it about 3 years ago as a daily when the fb came off the road. If I ever sold this car, I think my wife would leave me!
Pics of it in the yard for sale moments before I bought it

As it looks now

The caravan is a whole other story and was 2 years of hard work to bring back to a useable state.

4. Tc sedan L 2 litre auto. Picked this up on the weekend before Australia day last year. Travelled from Adelaide to Maroya in N.S.W (google it!) car is all original and has 64 thousand miles on the clock. Don't know why but I HAD to have this car. Is in at the painters now and will be my all original car.

As it was

After a clean

5. TD sedan (was) 200ci auto. I picked this up as a roller for $50 purely for donor panels for the white one. It was pretty stripped but HAD NO RUST... ANYWHERE. The guy I got it from picked it up for $400 and used it as a daily untill he decided to put a 1jz motor in it, Hence the firewall mod. Once he realised what it would cost to finish and the fact it could NEVER be legal he put his motor into a Cressida.

6. Tc XL sedan 2 litre auto. I picked this up for $350 from Whyalla. Thought it was too cheap to pass up and thought it would make a nice project. However, I have recently put it in the new shed and had a good look over it and have decided it will make a mediocre parts car and an awesome couch! I have no ics of this on hand but will update when possible.

7. Td sedan XL 4cly auto. So for a project I was / am doing (I say yes, wife says sell : / ) I needed a td sedan witha black vinyl roof after I discovered getting one fitted to one would cost $800. I picked this up at the wreckers for just $200  :D

Being loaded on the trailer at the wreckers

After some luuurve

8. Thought i'd ad this as wel 2003 BA XT Falcon. Bout this as a 100% standard genuine grandpa driven hub cap wearing heap of crap. Turned it into a nice looking and handling piece of crap. God I hate falcons, I've had this and an ef  sedan, both real low k clean cars and both times I have cut my losses and gone back to a Commodore. Sold it roughly June this year. Good Riddence!

Oh forgot to mention, besides all the electrical gremlins and the fact with anything more than 3kg on the back seat it scraped EVERYWHERE it was really thirsty on petrol. my work is a approx 70km round trip and about 50%  of that is doing 110 on the open road and is a nice flat run all the way in. I was using 1/4 tank every 2 days. At about $90 to fill you do the math.

9. so I sold the ba and went back to a Commodore. This car is unreal, has 258k on the clock and drives like it has 58k on the clock! and uses heaps less fuel than the ba.

10. Te wagon 2ltr manual. I picked this up on ebay in July this year (2011) from bordertown after it was advertised for a price I couldn't say no to. Came with a spare 2ltr, 4 speed box and a set of doors. Havn't touched it since I got it due to lack of time. Was told it runs well  but fuel pump is stuffed.

11. We also have a 2009 (bought in May 2010) Hyundai Getz. My first brand new car! now has 42k on the clock. Once you get past the name and the power it's a sweet little car and can fit a hell of alot of stuff inside it with the rear seats folded up.

So that's it right? surely that's enough cars for 2 people yeah? well not quite I went to a friends collection the other day where there is over 300 cars (mostly old pommy stuff) and I realised I really like ford Prefects. I found this on ebay and bid hard on it but missed out

But this got me looking at cars  for sale again and on wednesday I found this on ebay and thought ,oh yeah that's pretty sweet! Oh crap it finishes in 8 hrs. Yep I'm going for it. After all it has been my dream car since I was 10.

12. 1960 Holden fb ute. Pick this up tomorrow from Strathalbyn. The guy has had it for around 2 / 3 years and planned to do it up but has realised he probably never will so has decided to sell it off to someone who will. I just plan to get it and do what has to be done to put back on the road again. he grey motor has been given the flick for a late model 202 red motor.

So there you have it, my list of cars. I feel so exposed now. I think I've done alright so far for a 29 year old who earns bugger all and has done up a couple of houses in between this as well.

The family car yard and workshop. We've had some very rare cars come through over the years, and back when they weren't worth anything and no one wanted them.

Split windshield Kombi camper van (factory), 240C datto coupe, MK2 Corona coupe, just to name a few...

Not anything special but we had a fully optioned TE Ghia sedan, with a sunroof... It was smashed, but should've kept it just for that- would've gone well in the wagon! LOL

i tip my hat to any holden pre commodore or torana era. back then they still had style and a shitload of class.

your place must look like the wrecking yard in tils photo?

u mention the "late" model red 202. my old man back in his day bought an ek panel van brand spankin new and only got rid of it cos he traded it in on a eh wagon cos it had the "big" 6 cylinder. wish i had it now.

agreed, I used to be a holden fan until i lived in elizabeth (commodore country) Every little dickhead has a commodore with 18s and an exhaust and they lay their seat right back and think theyre the shit lol they used to hate it when we'd smoke them in my mates te.

Hey Lexo,

That's a sweet ride! beautiful paint job! only thing it needs is a 5 stud conversion so you can get some decent wheels on it. With that paint, stockies just don't cut it  :P

No Norm, our house doesn't look like a wrecking yard  :moon lol The wife and I are VERY house proud and always keep things neat. Cars are stored in the shed / carport and I even have the Gold Cortina with the black vinyl roof and the caravan in a mates shed which is 750m down the road. I put them there untill I got my shed done through winter and they've stopped there   I'll get it sorted soon, just need time.

Always need more time

Hi, I hover between Sydney and Mudgee NSW.

I have 3 TE Wagons. 1 is my daily driver - it has 450k on it, original faded paint, usual Corty rust, but mechanically it has a very nice 250 crossy with 5 spd supra box and uprated diff, suspension, brakes and 17s. 2 is a grandpa special which I bought to re-shell number 1, but on getting it home it would have been a crime to touch the car as it is absolutely perfect and absolutely original - right down to having the original instructions on the visor as to how to start the car plus all log books, and every receipt for every cent spent by the original owner over the years - it is my Sunday special drive car! 3 is a rolling shell that was re-built in 1990 - new panels, paint etc, and it then sat in a garage under a blanket for 20 years. It is in perfect condition, and is ready for some nasty conversions - most likely a barra turbo. It is, however, a "gunna" project as I do not have the time, skill or money to do it properly, and I don't want to waste the shell. It is sitting happily on my farm under a blanket in a weather tight shed, and when I get the $, skill and time, it will be something special - will be a few years yet!!

I also have a 2003 Nissan Navara D40 for work, my missus has a 2002 Mazda 323, and finally I also have a 1958 Lloyd Alexander with 37,000 miles on the clock which needs a full resto, but is in remarkable good condition for a car which sat in a warehouse since 1968.[/url]
