An observation from the members list:

Out of 3708 site members 3224 members do not have a post to their name.
196 only have a single post and 127 have between 2 and 5 posts.

Should we e-mail the 0 posters and those who haven't logged in to the site- say, in the past 6-12 months, to log in to the site so that in a few months time we can clean the user list out?

Might even remind some former users of the site and could remove the spammers login details...

im working on it

the site needs a major kick in the butt with some anti spam measures

im guessing out of the 3224 atleast 3000 will be spammers


hopefully i can get access too the server in the near future and see if we can get some updates happening

the site gets approx 90 unique users a week. obviously a lot of readers with only a few posting. i dont think they're all spammers otherwise the site would cop 100's of posts per day.

i reckon once the new bells and whistles are up then send out an invitation to everyone to visit. those who are inactive thereafter can be removed.

there has been 10-15 new accounts made daily this week and all but 2 have been spammers, in the latest 500 accounts i see around 10 that arnt spam accounts

luckly 9 outta 10 use a fake email so they cant activate there account and post shit
