Is anyone on this website doing or planning to do anything in the way of inlet manifold and/or carby modifications to get more power?
I have some ideas for replacing the standard throttle plate arrangement on a 4brrll carby to enhance airflow in a directional sense and a system of multiple runners per cylinder for a new V8 inlet manifold. This idea can easily be transferred to a 4 or a 6, but does take a lot of work. I am also looking at trying to do something with a new booster for the carby, something that will give better atomisation of fuel. Has anyone else got any ideas? You can always pm me privately at msc@bigpond.com if you wish.
