Hi guys I have a tc xle I've just pulled the front shocks out to find out the top mount has been shortened down and over time has pushed the rubber bush out. has anyone come across this before? my new shocks has a longer top mount and don't fit even though its the right part number.

74 TD. Had the same trouble. Right hand front, had to file the steel bolt bush down on lenght to match the one I took out. Took a while work out the problem. Pain in the bot.
