Wtb te trans cooler lines
« on: July 05, 2013, 01:43:09 PM »

G'day guys, I figure bits a long shot but I'm after some trans cooler lines for a te 6cyl or can I just run hoses? Some cowboy just cut the lines when they removed the trans from the corty I just bought so I'm cleaning up their mess.
Cheers, Dave.
P.s. I'm in adelaide bit I'm willing to pay for/organise postage.

Dave ... your back!

just run some hose that's what I do, or if your not sold on the hose there is a te (wagon ) at the gillman u pull it. trans was still there when I there 2 weeks ago. didn't see the cooler lines but wasn't looking for them . probably still there but condition? go have I look. I may head down to the Elizabeth yard over the weekend will post up if I see what you need.

Yea it's been a while lol cheers for the reply.
I figured there'd have to be a reason the original lines are metal? But if hose will do the trick it'll save me searching around.. If u see some at Elizabeth I might aswell grab them though.. I live at Salisbury now and work just behind upullit so itd work out well. I'm after some straight bumpers and a centre console too.
How's ur beast going? Still eating axles?? Lol

yep little has changed. just built a 28 spline lsd disk brake Diff for it but I need to pull it back down ,it's too tight need to remove some shims. ATM have no space to work on it.
when you fit the cooler line hose make sure to flair the original steel line or it can blow off.
