Hi all,
I have just joined this site and have been looking around it for a while... great Cortina info.
My name is Peter and I am from North Queensland.
I have a 1970 Cortina GT (Mk2) that I bought a few years ago. In need of a full resto but have all parts and engine, etc... just need a gearbox. I have other Fords as well.
I am thinking about selling the Cortina GT as I feel it is going to be too much for me to restore. I was hoping to get some idea of what it's worth. Yes, I know it's a bit difficult if you haven't seen it ... but just a ball park figure.
As mentioned before... car is in need of a resto. It has rust in usual areas ... in sills, bottom of doors and around wheel arches, around boot area and front of bonnet and in lower part of rear window. Have spare doors, etc. Have Ford verification letter.
Colour - Vermillion Fire with black stripe. Trim colour is black and is 4 speed manual. August 1970 car.
