TD XLE Tacho
« on: May 18, 2014, 08:14:48 PM »

Hi guys,

I've purchased an XLE instrument cluster to go in my TD.  I notice on the new cluster it has 4cyl stamped on the back of it, mine's a 6cyl.  I'm guessing this will affect the tacho?

Can anyone shed any light on this?  Can the 4cyl tacho be calibrated to a 6?

i didnt think they ever made a 4 cylinder xle.

to answer your question yeah u can have it recalibrated. i've had 6 cylinder units calibrated for a v8. any decent insturment place can do it. if u were in perth i could point you to a couple of places.
