Matts TD Humble Beginings To Beast
« on: October 26, 2014, 05:10:45 PM »

Hi everyone.

Trying to be a bit more active on the forum so i got together a photobucket album of my build.

http://s1196.photobucket.com/user/yttam7/library/Matts%20Cortina

Brief outline - she started out as a humble 4 cyl with a very good base for a project.

had rust removed and plate welded in, rear was tubbed to chassis rails, new 9'' diff with 3:7 gears and wilwood brakes to help pull up the 347ci windsor that is currently being built with estimate 420-450hp.

Has been painted in renault liquid lellow, this colour is insane and photos do no justice to the depth it has in direct sunlight.

I fabricated a custom dash fascia to house a Dakota digital VHX  guage i ordered from the states with metric face.

The link above shows progress photos from start to current which i will update as more happens. I hope to have her on the road early next year. Feel free to ask or comment on anything you like/dislike.

Cheers

Matt

Thanks mate. Yeah the dash came up great. The aluminium I put in was highly polished it really set it off but still a great minimalist look. I have the dash programmed for cnc so if any one wants one made let me know.
