TD XLE 1975 what are these things worth???
« on: April 30, 2016, 09:27:02 PM »

Can anyone give me an idea what a 1975 TD XLE 4.1 with factory Sunroof would be worth was garaged in about 95' very clean dry car one owner but has the usual door/panel dents but all original otherwise I've had it crank over and run very briefly but wouldn't take much to get it running just curious as from what ford have told me 101 XLE's were sold in oz and just 60 were sold with the factory Golde sunroof option ticked... Any ball park figures would be great probably can work out some pics to get up...

value is a tricky thing. i'd like to think its worth around the 7 grand mark but then in saying that there are cortinas around for half that price that arent moving.

The Td xle was the top of the range cortina and with a factory sunroof makes a bit more rare.
If its your first cortina you should hang on to it clean it up a bit, get it reliable again and enjoy it.
You will always kick yourself and regret selling it afterwards.
If you bought it to make money off it put a higher price on it and let somebody talk you down to what your happy with.
