Hi, I have a te ghia with air cond and p/s. i pranged it a few yrs ago and am now putting it together, i have just bought a fan belt hub that sits on the water pump off of a te 6cyl with no AC and PS, the hub doesnt line up with the alternator and crackshaft. Is there a specific hub for the PS AC model?

Yep they had a 2 grove water pump pulley and its diameter is smaller and it sits out further (as a guess 25mm)

as per my car - http://fordcortina.com.au/gallery/albums/userpics/10039/DSC01058.JPG

Some falcons also have the twin groove pulleys on them when running PS and AC and they may be more common.  I am not exactly sure whether they are interchangable though.

thanks guys, i know a falcon xc crossflow has the same holes, so ill try hunting for a twinpully in one of them. By the way i have a injected head which i heaps of work done on it before i got sidetracked, along with other bits and pieces off of an XE, is it worth me spending the extra money and finishing the job in terms of performance and economy etc?

+1 alloy head is the best option.

I spent a lot of money on an iron head back in the day only to find out a stock alloy was not only lighter but still flowed more in stock form!!
