I remember reading somewhere late last year, either here or on the main Ford forum, about someone who was making 'glass bonnets.
Can anyone here help me with this?

Hi,
Yes there is a member here who gets TE fiberglass bonnets made in Qld.
Everyone wanted one but nobody would show the cash, except for myself and a few others, send him a private message to NOS200.

Not dead in the water yet, the manufacturer recently moved. Azza you wanted custom scoops and intakes on your bonnet. If you had of wanted it plain and simple , im sure it would of been on the car by now.
Im supposed to make up a page to help sell them but im still flat out and no time.

I'll knock up a page and host it if it will help.

It will be a good chance to get my head around HTML again.
email me with any info and I'll make a start.
'glass panels are on my stage 2&3 list but I'm trying to get as much stuff together as I can

LOL. I was just looking for this same thread. I've seen some mention of legal FG bonnets in QLD on other forums . Are these ones certified? They're cheaper than trying to find a good replacement one these days.

I dont think any fiberglass replacement panels are actually legal for road use. The bonnet i have is made in 2 parts an inner skin and outter, when joined together its almost impossible to tell the difference just from looking at it.

I will upload some pics and other details shortly.
