horses for courses. mozilla for most shit, explorer for forums. i've found that most forums are hosted on less than perfect servers explorer will try a little harder to load the page whereas mozilla gives up in a flash.

This topic is like year and a half old now, a lot has changed since it was posted. Like Google Chrome. Its simple and it works. Firefox keeps crashing every now and again. IE naver plays youtube videos right on my PC. Google Chrome - no worries.

Firefox is way better than internet explorer it very very rarely crashes for me and I.E. loads pages slower. I've found the majority of people who know anything about computers use Firefox if they have any brain in their head. I've had trouble in the past with I.E. and that's why i switched to Firefox. i also like the look of Firefox better and the fact you can get add-ons like themes and other useful stuff is pretty good. I'll never use I.E. again unless its to do windows updates or something else to do with anything Microsoft.  :!:  :!:  :!:

I use firefox and linux (ubuntu) and have done so for a few years now and will continue to do so.  I got sick and tired of having problems, which in most cases could be tracked back to virus/trojans/spyware etc in Windows.   The only thing I can complain about linux is the lack of Bluray support :(

Best Browser?

I prefer Mozilla Seamonkey. This is an all-in-one browser ans email client. It is basically the old Mozilla Suite.  It loads quickly reads all forums I've tried and because it is not mainstream, there is less security problems with it.  I'm using Seamonkey 2, beta edition and I have no problems.
