Water Leaks in heavy rain
« on: April 30, 2008, 12:19:05 PM »

Hi,

Over the last couple of weeks there has been a lot of heavy rain where i live (Central Coast NSW). It has become apparent to me that there is a problem with leaking around the rear windscreen of the TE's, as i have two 1977 models (1x Ghia and 1x GL) both of which are leaking into the parcial shelf and the boot area. Has anyone else encountered this problem? And is there a way to fix it? ATM i am suspecting the side vents on the 'C' Pilars and/or the rear windscreen seal?

Regards

to find the source of the leak, strip it all out, back seat, parcel shelf, boot carpet the lot. get inside with a torch and and get someone to hit it with a garden hose on the outside.
