Is the car going to be a daily driver or is it going to come out on the weekend for a bit of fun.

XMAN - Pro250's set up sounds nice but i wasnt after what he offered me.

CORTY80 - i wouldnt mind driving it as an everyday car but im thinking of fuel, so im choosing to keep it as a weekend car.

i need some ideas. I was thinking of buying an XF Motor and giving it to Solo Herclues competition engines in sydney, they build great engines and are known as some of the best engine builders in australia.

i was going to get him to work the block and just buy evrything else later.

i dont want to rush into the project, i want to work on it over a few months to get it just right.

3000 will dry up pretty quickly once u get someone like solo hercules to build you an engine.

3000 will get you a warm reliable 250 if you're paying someone else to do it.

You will need to spend a bit of money on have the gbox cross member fabricated as if you dont, you will crack the floor. You will need another gbox, tailshaft + mods or tailshaft + diff mods, radiator etc

Maybe start with a wrecker engine and get everything going first and then get to rebuilding the motor once you know everything around it is sound.
