Hwzt guys, im from South Africa, and hope you guys dont mind me joining your forum, there aint a cortina forum as such for us cortina lovers here in south africa... anyway here is my ride its a 1980 Ford Cortina 3.0 V6 GLS, i got it last year as a 21st present, pictures are old ( the one's with the 15" Fondmetal mags) and the newer ones (like the car show ones) are the ones of when the car was lowered and i fitted a set of Capri Perana 13" deep dish rims to it, the car is original, wel "original" because only a few mods were done and the car has never been resprayed, its always been parked in a garage...mods to the engine are far and few:

- 273 degree camshafts
- Cowley branches and exhaust system

thats it, apart from the new interior (i bought it like that) and the muscle tappet cover set... let me know what you guys think! any input is appreciated!

This is a couple of days after i got the car last year

Tape player!!!!!

The day it was lowered, one of my fav pics

thanks man, that spoiler is actually an aftermarket spoiler, put in by the previous owner, as wel as the louvers and the wind sheilds... im thinking of putting an xr6 spoiler aswel as an xr6 front lip, what do u think?

wow... this is so similar, yet so many subtle differences to the aussie cortina's..
there was one of these SA spec Cortina's for sale in WA not long ago. I should have gone to have a look at it
