Hey Hoop09, welcome to the website.
What sorta info do you need, from reading your original post, it should be a straight swap over conversion.
What sort of gearbox is with the windsor?
Some single rails break behind a 6 cyl crossflow so with a bit of stick behind a hot 302 they wont last to long.
Do you have extractors for the v8 or are you using the original exhaust manifolds?
The hydro clutch shouldnt be to big a drama, either make an alloy plate that mounts the master cyl to the firewall or drill the firewall to mount it directly, post up some pics of it installed, see what other members think.

Does the v8 come with a bigger brake system, i'd recommend you look at getting one. Also the dash does it have the factory tacho or are you running an aftermarket tacho?

thanx bucster 4 reply been tryin to sort out info on the box.serial # ON BOX TELLS ME IT CAME OUT OF A TF BUT MATE SAID IT HAS V8 HOUSING ON THE BACK OF IT(COULD THIS BE TRUE) SO THIS IS THE BOX THAT CAME WITH MOTOR AND WAS RUNNING HYDRO CLUTCH SET UP.DASH HAS FACTORY TACO AND DOES THIS HAVE TO BE RECALIBRATED.WILL LOOK AT BIGGER BRAKE SET UP ONCE THIS ENGINERED AND REGO'D. DONT GET A LICENCE BACK FOR 6 MONTHS SO THIS WILL MY TOY AND DAILY DRIVER. HAVE A SET OF WINDSOR EXTRACTORS THAT WILL HAVE TO BE MODIFIED IF YOU COULD ALSO SUGGEST ANY THING IN THIS AREA THAT WOULD BE GREAT AS THIS PART OF MY BUILD TROUBLES ME.THANX HOOP09

Hey Hoop09,
The box sounds interesting, when you say v8 housing on the back i assume you mean the bell housing. Without spending more on an auto or another gearbox, throw it in and work around the problems that it creates if any.
Yes your Tacho dash will need to be recalibrated to suit the v8 signal from the coil. A 6 cyl tacho dash is rare and worth money to the right buyer, a 4cyl dash is available cheaper and requires the same mods.
I wouldnt bother modifying the pipes, just get a set that suit the windsor into a cortina, modifying extractors is a pain in the arse, especially when they leak cause you didnt weld the star point or a collector properly.

bucster thanx again for taking time to chat wit me. mate not running coil have electronic dizzy so where does that leave me also have spare 6cyl dash in doner car which is te ghia sedan with factory sun roof. now is that sun roof worth any thing to the rite person cause i was told that it is? mate i've done a little research on the box and it just seems to be standard box the housing i was talking bout was the housing that shifter goes into not the bell housing.engine mounts are custom made jobies so dont no if extractors from c.s.r will fit. bloke at exhaust shop said to my machanic mate that he'll do extractors and exhaust for about a grand. i'm a bit wary cause this seems a bit cheap to me.what ya think. cheers hoop09
