Steering Wheels for Ghia TE Corty
« on: October 21, 2009, 09:26:22 PM »

G'day Everyone,

Just thought I would share with you an ebay purchase from the UK that has worked out.

I have just bought a Mountney style steering wheel and hub adaptor that is the correct length for the TE Ghia Corty.

The only issue is that it tapers down (quite narrow),as it reaches the steering column so I am going to get a circular plate welded on to the bottom of it as a flange.

Or it has a lower section that I might cut off and replace with an aluminium cylinder welded in its place with a flange and then get it re-powder coated.

Either way it looks pretty good.

Wheel is nicely finished except for little silver metal tabs on the back of each spoke which I will paint black.
