Ideas for a TC Wagon
« on: December 12, 2009, 06:19:37 PM »

G'day, I have recently brought a TC Wagon Auto with a 200 pre xflow in it and need some ideas as far as performance enhancements go. Would like a bit of extra grunt but will be my daily drive so nothing too silly. Does anyone have a few Ideas or know a Good mechanic around Perth to chat to?

how much were you looking to spend? how much of it do you plan on doing yourself?

a xflow with cam, decent intake and extractors always does the trick but it all depends on fast you wanna go.

Hey there Swoody, I have a 2v head and manifolding if thats of any use to you, there was a guy called tony at ERR motorsport in gillham st kelmscott that does all things performance to small/medium sized fords, not sure if he's still there but defianately worth a look... or maybe racetune, make sure your wallets full if you visit him though....

Drive train around 5k, will be looking for a manual to install. want to keep the original motor. I'm not that savy on the motor so will get someone to do that, but would like to go there with a bit of an idea of what can be done.

Would love to know what others have done in the past and what results they found. basically, what cam, rods, piston, head, carby etc etc that others have had success with.

Suspension, brakes bodywork I will do myself.

Will Give ERR a call thanks.

Thinking about finding a TF ghia and throwing the gear in from that - air con will be a blessing if i can find one with it.

i have the goodies to put aftermarket air con into a tc less the hoses and condensor. hoses are no biggie to have made. u can use a universal reciever/dryer and i reckon i could find u a condensor to suit.

i live in gosnells and the wreck the air con is on is in harrisdale just off ranford rd.
