- how does the fuel tank fasten to the car i have the straps which slot in but how do they bolt in?

-the chrome trims on the door seal exterior how do they go on once they are off the rivets seem broken

-what heter box will fit in as mine is cracked like the rest of them can you fix them up like fiber glass the cracks and re spray or does a te tf one fit

if you follow the straps around to the front you'll see a nut and hook thingy. undo the nut several turns and then u can unhook the strap from the body.

the chrome trims are held on by a tight fit. if u damage them taking them off then u might be in the shit. if u'r talking about the strips across the tops of the door(but under the window) they are held on by clips. i dont have the part number handy but they're readily available from rare spares as its the same clips for most fords in the 70's.

u can fix the heater box or get another tc box. the tc box is different to all other models but if fibreglass it up and paint it, no one will ever know.

not new u cant. secondhand is the only way you'll get em. expect to buy a whole set of doors or at least pay a bit for em cos there arent many good "undented, undamaged" trims left
