1978 TE Cortina Rear Axle
« on: May 15, 2010, 10:17:19 AM »

Hi, I own a 1978 TE Cortina Sedan. I have recently changed wheels and want to lower the car but have come across a problem. When on the road, the right rear wheel sticks over the guard by about 10-20mm, but the left one is fine. As soon as I put it up in the air it looks OK. I took it to a local mechanics and they said it is normal to have the offset, (Toranas apparently have the same problem) but I'm not sure if this is the case :? . Please help.
