Hydraulic Clutch Kit for TE and TF

Just for everyones info Mal Wood Automotive in Warwick QLD now have a hydraulic clutch underdash system to suit the TE and TF cortina. It is very similar to their system they use for the E series and Au falcon and is pretty easy to fit up.

It is a bolt up system that bolts up to the existing pedal box and uses a Quarter Master hyd bearing so there is no need for a clutch fork. It can be used on the Auto or Manual pedal box but the Auto brake pedal needs to be reworked, the manual brake pedal just requires a new pedal pad welded on to match the clutch pedal.

They can do all the rework if you cant do it yourself. It will also require the front retainer on your gearbox to be machined down to suit the Quarter Master depending on your type of box but they can do that as well.

Its a pretty good system and eliminates that horrid old cable system.

Its around $1300 for the full kit. Includes underdash master cyl unit with pedal pads etc, Quater Master Hyd bearing, plastic res, and braided delivery line. It sounds a lot but for what you get and the better clutch performance and feel its well worth it. If you give them a call on 07 4661 3548 they can confirm the exact price.
