Soory it took so long to get pic's up but i have been flat out with getting the corty finished. last week i was up till 230am every night just so i could make my deadline. I gave her to my Dad on saturday with all my family there. i made a sign with all the spec's and his name as the owner and it went straight over his head lol. was'nt untill i gave him the key's  that he got it lol. he was blown away and could not stop huging me and said why did you do this for me. I said just because you are my dad and this is my way of thanking you for every thing you have done for me.

so here are some pic's of the beast.

My Dad with his new beast.

some pics of her at the All Ford Day and first show and she got runner up for Best Cortina so we are stoked.

Absolutely fantastic job mate!

It's a small world, I used to work with your Dad at Woolies about 5 years ago. Real nice bloke, I would always have a chat with him about cars and stuff. I remember him telling me about your Mustang, so your still going with it? I remember him telling me about the number plates ELENOR and seeing your white xr8 getting around with those plates on. I remember alot of our conversations, as I said  a real nice bloke and very deserving of something like this.

Hi low xe, the wheels where on a xy but im not sure on off set but i know i had to shorten the diff by 50mm each side to make them fit. i was'nt to fust about that as i wanted the deep dish look as much as i could with out tubbing. the fronts fit just but i had to put 175's x 60's and evan then they are close to the gards so may have to change them over yet. The next thing to do is front and back suspension but im letting dad do that and once that is done i will get a better veiw of where the wheels sit as it is leaning on one side abit with spring sag.

Lol your not wrong mate. are you the one i was talking to on facebook ?.
Yeah mate i still going with the mustang but not much has been done for a while lol. It's been 9 years i have been building it now so i now need to get back into it. I have made some change's to my plans for it to make my life easyer and a bit cheaper lol so i will be going back to a old school windsor or clevo over the 4.6L cobbra motor i have in it now. I think it will still be at least 2 years away though.

Looking real nice and the story is a tear jerker, i would like to do something fantastic like that for my Dad as well.
Regading your rims, do you know the width, you can usually tell the offset because the are only available in a couple common offsets per rim width.
They look like 3 3/8 backspace, depending if they are 6", 7" or 8"s.
I run same style rim in a 1 piece alloy from VPW with a  15 x 10 and 3 3/8 backspace,
